This is a very good read...I didn't want to put it down! When Dean Fortescue, an ex-marine, finds himself running from something, he is surprised to find himself on the doorstep of Beulah Morgan. He has come to the area looking for his Aunt Mille, who has disappeared, and he found her house burned. There was something very scary on her property. Due to a bad experience in her past Beulah doesn't trust anyone. After listening to Dean's story she decides to investigate and together they have to learn to trust each other to get rid of a ghoul that neither knew even existed. During their research, they encounter spells, death magic and old memories. She needs his strength to help her control her magic, and he discovers that he needs her. To find out what happens you have to read the book. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is a wonderful book!Product details

First one was good, second one mediocre, this one not any better, had to skim over some of the silly just to finish. I think it's time to move on to other things on my to-read list
A good read, lots of suspense, intrigue and great storyline to keep you reading page after page.
Follow Beulah on another magical adventure
A ghoulish story but not the kind that scares you sick, thank goodness! A recognition that pure goodness and love can conquer, even while dealing with guilt and the aftermath of bittersweet situations or terrible tragedies. A thoughtful yet sweet romance binds the horror and keep evil at bay.
I read a lot of paranormal romance novels, but few have a ghoul as the evil that the H and h have to combat. Also, I like stories that have a HEA.
This is the second book I have read in the Old School Series. Both books were easily understood as standalone stories and did not require being read in series order. That said, I am going to get another one to read.
I liked both characters, and found the heroine's back story compelling. An interesting sideways trip in the series as it doesn't build on the books before or after (yet).
